ENHANCE-RPP Ensuring Nutrition, Health and Childrenโs Early Learning Strengthened with Responsive Protective Parenting In the objective level, 312 out 300 (104%) of IYC achieved appropriate development and well-being improvements (developmentally on track) and are protected in their homes and environment. ON PARTNERSHIP BUILDING (Community Based Child Protection Mechanism & Community Support Structure) 3 out of 3 (100%) of LGUs/ CBCPMโs with 5% increase of support on ECCD and child protection focused programs for children including their family like home-based activities. 26 Covered Barangay from 3 LGU (Infanta, Real & Nakar) supported the programs and community-based initiated activities of Reina Federation. 46 (Male-1, Female-45) from 3 groups of Community Support Structures (Child Development Workers) from Real, Infanta and General Nakar engaged and committed to facilitate parenting Session. Reina Federation is an active member of Municipal, Provincial and Regional Council on Child Protection and DRRM. Reina Federation conducted capacity building and orientation with partner stakeholders through Lobbying and continuous networking activities. The organization reached 1 out of 3 Community Based Child Protection Mechanism which increase their support with community support structure in their barangay. Real Quezon through the Municipal Council for the Protection of Children (MCPC) emphasize that they will also consider to increase the support for Child Development Workers who have directly influence and communicate with IYC. The 46 members of MCPC from Real Quezon were oriented and refreshed on the salient points of Republic Act 10410 which is the Early Years Act of 2013. The discussion evolves in promotion of the earliest investment of Local Government Unit in Early Childhood Care and Development services for Infant and Young Children. ON CAPACITY BUILDING 46 CSS – Community Support Structures (Male-1, Female-45 females) are trained and oriented on National Early Learning Curriculum (NELC) particularly on Learning Resource Package (LRPโs). CSS are trained on Mental Health and Psychosocial Session. 26 Community Volunteers (All Female) assisted on Community-Based Parenting Session. 966 parents/caregivers (Male-113, Female-853) demonstrated positive behavior on proper child-rearing through Home-Based Parenting Session. Parents increased knowledge, attitude and practices (KAP) on Stress Management, ECCD Checklist Administration, Disaster Preparedness and Child Protection concern. 27 parents from IP-Community in General Nakar trained on Livelihood Security through Making of Tiger Grass Broom as their alternative source of income. Results of continuous partnership and capacity building with Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) received the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG). One of the covered barangays of Reina Federation obtain SGLG award last June 2022 that shows integrity and good performance as pillars of meaningful local autonomy and development. The Barangay Captain leads in making innovative child friendly activities in their community is a former trained volunteer of the organization. ON CHILD PROTECTION 540 children ages 2-4.11 years/months accessing ECCD intervention package thru home-based modalities. 13 Home-Based facilitators led in the ECCD Checklist Administration Orientation for parents of 0-5 years old children. 35 BCPC members (Male-17, Female-19) were oriented on their roles as BCPC members and roles in Referral Mechanism specially in managing Child Protection cases. 5 BLGU from Infanta adapted and passed Ordinances on Child Protection concern. 8 covered Barangay from Infanta increased Knowledge on Referral Pathway using Project RAMDAM application.
