YOUTH-LED Project Name: Youth Organizations United in Harmonizing Leadership, Empowerment and Development Project DOMAIN: Civic Engagement and Leadership PATHWAY: Informed and Involved CitizensPATHWAY: Collective Youth ActionPATHWAY: Youth-Inclusive Environments Interest groups such as PINTA, Theatro, Radio, ECO BAND and ECO scouts are active in advocating Childโs Rights. Radio aired seven (7) times discussing DRR related topics, while PINTA is invited twice by the LGU of Infanta to display their advocacy products, Eco band recorded the three (3) songs they originally composed and performed with Theatro with Program initiated by the Municipality of Infanta and General Nakar last Childrenโs Month celebration. Also, 14 out of 27 CCS Facilitators are youth trained and prepositioned. And also, 24 YDRRM facilitators are trained and helped five (5) Barangays of Infanta in developing their BDRRM plans. Youth have also been actively involved with the local government units in the application and implementation of RA 10121, NCCAP and CERPA. These YDRRM facilitators also have acquired knowledge on LISTONG PAMILYANG PILIPINO. They were oriented on Gabay at Mapa and Child Protection and some of them assist the LGUsโ as partner in facilitating Gabay at Mapa of Pamilyang Listo DOMAIN: Civic Engagement and LeadershipPATHWAY: Informed and Involved Citizens, Collective Youth Action and Youth-Inclusive Environments Furthermore, the ability of the youth to organize and Youth are actively engaged and participated in the community activities, in fact 26 Youth associations (22 BYA, 3 MYA and KALASAG have successfully gained their recognition in their respective Barangays in the Environmental activities that they have implemented this quarter. During Program Quality Reflection (PQR) Results Review and Planning some parents mentioned that the Federations organized Barangay Youth Associations are already visible in the community because of their actively involvement and such as clean-up drive, tree growing and nursery development. For the past months, Reina Federation and the Barangays are supporting the Barangay Youth Associations activities regards to the protection of environment and development of the Associations. And also, this quarter a total of 652 youth 228 male and 397 female participated in the youth activities. Likewise, the Youth Associations successfully conducted their general assemblies. It is observed that there is an increased of their skills and knowledge in deciding for their next leader. In addition to that, the ability of the youth to organize and manage a Reina-wide Youth-led DRR activity is proven through EcoCamp last April. Youth leaders KALASAG leaders performed their highest skills and showed their capacity in the last camp. They also acknowledged that their Capacity Building and Youth Development Sessions received from the Federation help them in order to accomplish and managed the whole camp from preparation up to the last activity (Leynes, 2017). Also, it shows in M & E Level 2 for LS3 Child Data that 69% for female and 43% received needs based and comprehensive life skills and psychosocial support. These efforts of Youth leaders are also reflected to their participants resulted to increased knowledge based on pre-test and post-test given. And these are the significant changes in life stage 3.
